Volodymyr Zelensky said that Kiev would not accept any results of negotiations between Russia and the United States, since there was not a single representative of the Ukrainian side at the meeting. This was reported on February 18 by Foreign Policy.
In addition, Kiev's allies expressed concern, as they, too, are being sidelined.
"There will be no peace in Ukraine without Ukraine or Europe (negotiations with representatives of Ukraine and Europe)," Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur told the publication.
The meeting of the delegations of Russia and the United States took place in one of the palaces of the royal family of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh earlier. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called the talks "very useful." According to him, the parties "not only listened, but also heard each other."
