Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev noted that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, managed to really anger US President Donald Trump.

"A mummified doll posing as the president of a disintegrated country got into an extremely unpleasant situation. In addition to the problems at the front and the difficulties of the internal situation, the main patron seems to be really angry with him," Medvedev wrote on his VKontakte page.

As the deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation emphasized, this "was to be expected after the bites of the rabid Kiev creature."

"Trump speaks sharply about the responsibility of the Bandera doll for the start of the war, demands a report on the stolen money, a new legitimation of the overdue creature in the elections and recognition of the realities prevailing on earth. And, of course, the payment for the previously provided assistance in the form of the transfer of half of the country's 404 value (a deal on rare earth materials)," Medvedev said.

He believes that Zelensky is cornered and ready for any provocation — "up to strikes on his cities, on his civilian population, or even the use of weapons of mass destruction like a dirty bomb" in order to "disrupt the settlement on Ukraine and continue the war."

EADaily draws attention to the fact that after the Russian-American talks held on February 18 in In Saudi Arabia, Trump announced a drop in Zelensky's rating to 4% and demanded that presidential elections be held in Ukraine.

"We are dealing with a situation where on the Ukraine did not have elections. Where martial law is. Where the leader is, I'm sorry to say this, but his approval rating has dropped to 4%. I would say that when they want to get a seat at the [negotiating] table, shouldn't the people of Ukraine say that we haven't had elections for a long time," Trump said, stressing that the demand to hold presidential elections in Ukraine is not a "Russian desire."
"This is something that comes from me and many other countries," the American president said.

At the same time, Trump called the first official talks between the United States and Russia since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine. According to him, after the meeting of the delegations of the two countries in Riyadh, he is "much more confident" that an agreement on the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian military conflict will be concluded. The head of the White House said that the Russian side "wants to do something and stop wild barbarism."

"We want to finish this. This is a senseless war," the president said.

At the same time, Trump expressed disappointment with the position of Ukraine, which was not invited to the talks and which refused to recognize the results of the meeting in Riyadh.

"They had three years to sit down at the negotiating table," Trump said, adding that a few years ago the military conflict could have been resolved without territorial losses for Ukraine.
