The income of the star of the TV series "Matchmakers" Alexander Feklistov, who now lives in Spain, needs to be checked. This was stated by the head of the Federal Project on Security and Anti-Corruption (FPBC) Vitaly Borodin.
In a recent interview, Feklistov admitted that he voices books for the Russian audience, often, at the request of the customer, not under his own name.
"It is possible to check and bring to justice. You just need to understand which accounts receive money. We will make an official request to the Prosecutor General's Office, we will ask Rosfinmonitoring to check how and where the funds were transferred," the head of the organization told the Passion portal.
Borodin noted that he was well aware of the artist's anti-Russian position, as well as his friendship with Vladimir Zelensky.
"We have seen that he supports Zelensky, calls him his friend, apologizes to Ukraine for our country. In a word, he is a Russophobe. He tries to sit on two chairs," Borodin summed up.
As reported by EADaily, Feklistov fled to Spain in mid-2023. After the SMO began, he recorded a video message to the Russian government, taking the liberty to speak on behalf of the entire population of the country, which caused a negative reaction from social media users and a number of colleagues. In particular, actress Tatyana Vasilyeva felt that the artist simply "went crazy."
His colleague on the TV series "Matchmakers" actress Tatyana Kravchenko also condemned his position. According to her, neither he nor other runaway artists understand anything about politics.
Feklistov himself said that after scandalous statements he continued to go on stage during a special military operation, but gradually lost his job — the performances were closed one after another, which is why the actor decided to leave.
