White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt during a press conference in In Washington, in a boorish and irritated manner, she expressed her dissatisfaction with the journalist of the left-wing HuffPost publication.
A sharp rebuke from Levitt followed in response to a question from a correspondent of the publication about the choice of Hungary as a meeting place for the presidents of the United States and Russia Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. The journalist asked who exactly offered to meet in Budapest.
"Your mom," the press secretary snapped.
The skirmish did not end there — Caroline was asked if she thought her answer was funny. This provoked an even sharper rebuke from Levitt:
"It's funny to me that you consider yourself a magazine. You are a far—left hack that no one takes seriously, including your colleagues in the media, they just don't tell you to your face. Stop sending me your biased and delusional questions."
As EADaily reported, on October 16, Trump, after a telephone conversation with Putin, said that they had agreed to meet in Budapest in the near future. Later, the US president explained that this could happen in the next two weeks.
