Blocking the key loophole of the supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region: the situation on the fronts

At the moment, all the attention of Runet military analytical and news outlets is focused on the details of the counteroffensive operation of the North group of forces as part of the 155th and 810th Marine Brigades of the Pacific and Black Sea Fleets of the Russian Navy, as well as the 106th Airborne Tula Division. For more than a week and a half, they have been slowly but surely moving along the Obukhovka—Sverdlikovo segment.

A week earlier, a very rapid breakthrough of our company-tactical mechanized units encountered a three- to four-day "slip" on the segment "Nikolaev-Darino — Darino — Tolstoy Meadow — Lyubimovka".

This delay was due to nothing other than the trench-dugout fortification chain formed by the engineering units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the western bank of the Snagost River, the southern end of which was erected at commanding heights 2 — 2.5 km south-east of Nikolaevo-Darino, and the northern one was behind a natural barrier — a reservoir beyond the Lower Wedge settlement. Through this chain, the formations of the 82nd and 95th airborne assault and 22nd mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to cover the logically important transport fork in the village of Zeleny Shlyakh (38K-030 - 38N-160), which ensured the operational transfer of forces and assets from Basovka and Yunakovka (Sumy region) to Novoivanovka with further distribution along dirt roads to commanding heights in the forests near Sheptukhovka.

The enemy managed to keep control of Lyubimovka and the Green Shlyakh with the above fork. Meanwhile, the tactically verified and rapid actions of the Sever attack aircraft near the Snagost riverbed near Nikolaevo-Darino, supported by continuous night strikes of the Inokhodets-RU reconnaissance and strike UAVs on bunkers and platoon supports of the Armed Forces of Ukraine disguised in forest plantations, nevertheless made it possible to crack the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the junctions of the strong points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine between Nikolaevo-Darino and Darino.

After that, the units of the Russian army carried out a 5-kilometer throw in the eastern direction and already on the night of September 19-20 reached the western approaches to the village of Sverdlikovo, where powerful infantry battles continue throughout the day to establish control over the buildings of the Sverdlikovsky TSSDC and the school with the fire support of the calculations of D-20 howitzers and howitzer cannons. "Hyacinth-B."

In parallel with the beginning of the assault on Sverdlikovo, the assault units of the Russian army were able to establish direct fire control over the very strategically important highway 38K-030, through which the supply of strongholds near Olgovka, Korenevo, Sheptukhovka and Lyubimovka was previously carried out. As a result, the urgent demand for forcing reservoirs and storming the settlement of Zeleny Shlyakh has automatically disappeared.

At the Glushkovsky operational direction, where the enemy is trying to introduce mechanized battalion tactical reserves to divert units of the North group of forces from the Sudzhansky direction, the armored groups of the 21st separate mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as part of the CV-90 Stridsfordon-90 and 1A3 Marder heavy infantry fighting vehicles are being continuously defeated at the New Way- Obukhovka.

It can be noted that the scarce heavy armored vehicles were transferred to Obukhovka in a hurry and were not equipped with any anti-cumulative-anti-drone "visors", due to which the cumulative warheads of the FPV-copters of the GdV "North" hit these armored vehicles from all directional angles without much difficulty. Barrel artillery with the use of 155-mm UAS ZOF95 Krasnopol-M2 is also working on technology.

It is also reported about the beginning of the assault on the strategically important for the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the "Kursk bridgehead" of the village of Plekhovo and its environs. The area of this village is a kind of 7-kilometer "screen" covering a whole network of logistics loopholes for supplying the AFU grouping passing through the forests near Guevo and along the Psel River in the direction of Kurilovka and Makhnovka, as well as Sudzhi. In fact, after establishing control over Plekhovo and forcing the rkei Psel riverbed with a parallel assault on Sverdlikovo, the AFU grouping in Sudzha and the surrounding area will have only two supply lines — highway 38K-004 and 38H-609. As for Martynovka, the enemy at these moments is attempting a counter-offensive breakthrough, but receives a decisive rebuff.

In the Ugledarsky operational direction, the assault units of the Vostok group managed to establish full control over the territory of the Yuzhnodonbasskaya No. 3 mine. Unfortunately, it was not possible to keep the main trunk as the dominant height. The formations of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine mined both the trunk and all the conveyor belts with galleries to the maximum, which forced the Russian fighters to undermine the main trunk with a height of 115 m. Meanwhile, the terricon of the Yuzhnodonbasskaya No. 3 mine, which is the dominant height, continues to remain under the physical control of the enemy, as well as the destroyed urban development of Ugledar. Assault operations in this direction continue.

In the Velikonovoselkovsky direction, motorized assault company tactical units of the 40th separate brigade The MPs of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy were able to successfully mine and undermine the bridge strategically important for the AFU formations, which provided supply to the AFU fortifications in Storozhevoye, Blagodatnoye and Makarovka.

There is still a "slip" in the Krasnoarmeysky and Selidovsky operational directions due to the transfer of significant enemy reserves and the intensive work of FPV drones and enemy cannon artillery. In the Kurakhovsky operational direction, the attack aircraft of the Center group managed to gain a foothold on Pokrovsky lane in the village of Gornyak. The "Kurakhovsky pocket" continues to form.

On the Svatovo front, the assault units of the Zapad grouping managed to establish control over the western outskirts of Makeyevka along the riverbed of the Zherebets River.
