Negotiations on the end of the Ukrainian conflict are underway between Moscow and Washington, and conditions are set for Kiev. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky.
This is how he commented on today's telephone conversation between the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
"Trump's conversation with Putin is the forerunner of Trump's conversation with (head of the Kiev regime Vladimir) Zelensky (if he will be at all). This means that negotiations on the end of the war are going on between Moscow and Washington, and conditions are being set for Kiev. And for the particularly stupid, who do not understand what should have been done since November 2024, they have to stop the supply of weapons in order to bring (Zelensky. — EADaily) to their senses," the deputy writes in his telegram channel.
The tragedy is that all this time "because of the stupidity and "courage" of one who longs for eternal power and money," people are dying, sums up Dubinsky.
As EADaily reported, the telephone conversation between the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, lasted almost an hour today. This was stated by the assistant to the Russian leader Yuri Ushakov.
Naturally, Ukrainian issues were discussed. Trump again raised the issue of an early cessation of hostilities, to which Putin said that Russia continues to seek a negotiated solution to the conflict. According to Putin, Russia will achieve the goals of the special operation, it will not give up on them. The topic of stopping the supply of US weapons to Ukraine was not affected today.
