The Russian Armed Forces are using a new type of Blueberry drones with target guidance for attacks on Kharkov. This was stated by the mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov.
According to Terekhov, during the previous week, the Russian Armed Forces attacked Kharkov city not only with the usual "Shaheds" ("Geranium". — EADaily), but also the Blueberry UAV with target guidance. These are the first such strikes in Ukraine, it is known about at least one arrival of such a drone. As a result of it, several cars in the garage cooperative were damaged, Terekhov claims.
"The fact that the forces of the Russian Federation have received updated versions of the UAV, the Blueberry drones, has been reported since the end of April. According to the Ukrainian portal Defense Express, there are two versions of this UAV — light ("Blueberry-1") and heavy ("Blueberry-2"). The weighted model is designed to destroy dugouts and heavy equipment and can fly up to 100 km, the media writes,"the DW* Main telegram channel writes.
It is not specified which version of the drone was used for attacks on Kharkov, TK notes.
