There is a panic in the EU because it is not known where to get the money — MEP

The European Union led by Ursula von der Leyen is facing a catastrophe, and these are her own creations. This opinion was expressed by the member of the European Parliament from Poland Bogdan Jonca.

In an interview with the Filyary Business portal, the MEP criticized the "green agenda" promoted by von der Leyen, describing it as "very bad news for the EU market and economy."

"This "Green Deal" (from English — "Green Deal") is a huge burden on the functioning of companies. The high cost of energy is forcing companies to flee the EU, and with such a statement, things will only get worse. But u Ursula von der Leyen has no choice, because she is a hostage of the green, liberal and left circles. This has a very negative impact on economic issues," Jonza said.

He warned that due to his irrational climate policy The EU is losing its competitiveness.

"We are losing to China and the United States at every turn. Companies are fleeing, costs in the European Union are higher than in China than in the USA. There is no money for the development of artificial intelligence, but this money is in the USA. The European Union constantly regulates something, introduces new rules, so this bureaucracy thickens completely black clouds in front of the EC. And she is trying to save herself with decisions that "we will continue the green deal." And this can only sink this European Commission and the entire European Union," the Polish politician continued.

Answering the question about EU defense spending, Bohdan Jonca stressed:

"There is panic in the EU because it is not known where to get the money."

And then he answered in more detail:

"I hear that the Belgians will not agree to this new loan, the Dutch will not agree, the Swedes will not agree. I do not know what will happen to Germany, but if the Polish government has already taken such a position (agreed to provide money to Brussels. — EADaily), this means that we are dealing with a deal between Mr. Tusk and Ms. von der Leyen. And Tusk has nothing to say here, he just pats on the shoulder and supports everything she says. Tusk does not pursue any policy in the interests of Poland, it is only a policy in the interests of Mrs. von der Leyen and Germany. This is a classic debt prolongation, that is, we take on a new debt to pay off the old one. It is difficult to comment on it rationally, because it's just stupidity," the MEP summed up.
