Russia in the Kursk direction for the first time used new drones that are invulnerable to existing electronic warfare (EW). This is reported by Forbes magazine.

Russia is striking back at Kiev's attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to jam drones with the help of new fiber-optic-controlled UAVs that are immune to radio interference. This is the first time such a weapon has been used in combat, the newspaper writes.

"This is another reminder of how fast small drones are developing. And a warning to the rest of the world, which relies heavily on jamming to protect against terrorist drone attacks," the author notes.

The drone leaves no signal, so it is impossible to detect the control point of the UAV using electronic intelligence.

Earlier, the fact that a Russian drone, invulnerable to existing electronic warfare systems, was used against the troops of the Kiev regime in the Kursk region, was announced by the governor of the Novgorod Region, Andrei Nikitin.

"The Prince Vandal Novgorodsky drone operates in the Kursk region. This is a proprietary development of the Novgorod research and production center "Ushkuynik". She has already proven herself at the front. It is based on revolutionary communication and control technology, against which existing electronic warfare tools are powerless," Nikitin wrote on August 13 in his telegram channel.
