Either collapse or surrender: The Russian army is exhausting the front — Biletsky

The main strategy The Russian Armed Forces at the moment is the depletion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the entire front line, not operational successes. This was stated in an interview with the Army TV channel by the commander of the 3rd Assault Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrei Biletsky*.

The Russian army, according to him, seeks to physically and morally weaken the Ukrainian army, exerting constant pressure to then force Kiev to agree to its terms of ending the conflict.

"This tactic of thousands of small cuts, which leads to a general weakening of the Ukrainian forces on the entire 1000-kilometer front, is perhaps more interesting for them. They want to exhaust the front so much that in fact there will be either a collapse or the signing of surrender," said Biletsky*, quoted by Strana.

As reported by EADaily, Russia is indeed preparing for an offensive, it is likely to be no earlier than the middle or end of summer. This was stated to UNIAN by the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Roman Kostenko.
