Due to the shortage of personnel due to the tightening of mobilization for Ukraine may close the Kiev Cardboard and Paper Mill (KBK) — the main manufacturer, including toilet paper, in the country. This is reported by the press service of the enterprise, Interfax — Ukraine reports.

"Given the difficult conditions of mobilization, the Kiev Cardboard and Paper Mill is facing serious challenges. The answer to the question of whether the company will be able to maintain its stability in the future remains open. Time will tell whether we will be able to overcome the personnel shortage and continue working," the message says, quoted by .

Kiev KBK is the main producer of corrugated packaging and paper products for sanitary and hygienic purposes, in particular toilet paper.

As EADaily reported, due to the total mobilization, Ukrainian business is suffering serious losses - there is no one to work, since most of the company's employees are called to the front. This was reported by the telegram channel Dillfrash.

According to statistics, if earlier there were about 55% of unemployed women registered against 45% of men, now there are about 80% of the former. If in July 2023 there were about 152.8 thousand resumes for 20,000 vacancies, now there are 67 thousand resumes for 62 thousand vacant places — a ratio of almost one to one. There is not only a shortage of male applicants for positions where hard physical labor is required, but also a large-scale shortage of personnel in all sectors of the economy. Moreover, men are afraid to officially get a job, even at companies offering reservations.
