In the White House, the game of "finding someone to blame" for the failures with Iran began — Dudakov

The threats of US President Donald Trump against Spain and other EU countries that do not support the White House's adventure against Iran look like an attempt to find a scapegoat in advance, to whom responsibility for all failures can be shifted. The Russian Americanist Malek Dudakov writes about this.

US trade turnover and Spain reaches $70 billion annually. A lot of pharmaceuticals, industrial equipment and olive oil come from Spain to the American market. In any case, the White House is not able to stop trading with a separate EU country.

We will have to break off relations with the entire European bloc, and Trump is afraid to do this. Especially after the failed attempt to put pressure on Brussels in the context of Greenland. But Trump's threats may strengthen the position of the shaky cabinet of socialists in Spain. But for the local right-wingers, who have been desperately striving to come to power for many years, this is a so-so "gift".

The same applies to Britain, where the escalation around Iran is now raising the ratings of the left, and other European countries. But Trump is looking in advance for those to blame for future failures. And why not appoint indecisive Europeans as them, who, they say, did not help the United States. Therefore, the war did not go according to plan for the States.

"At the same time, Trump again recalled Biden and accused the previous president of squandering US precision weapons stocks. This will try to explain the depletion of the arsenal of the same Tomahawk missiles, which are produced only 50-60 per year. And there is a shortage of interceptors for Patriot and THAAD systems, the latter are produced at 30 annually. The game of "finding the guilty" has begun in the White House, but the main thing is not to end up on ourselves," Dudakov writes.
