The film "Nuremberg" by James Vanderbilt with Russell Crowe and Rami Malek will not be released on Russian screens. This is reported by the rental company World Pictures in the telegram channel.
"The Ministry of Culture refused to issue a rental certificate to the film, and the release scheduled for March 19 has been canceled," the report says.
The company did not give the reason for the refusal to issue a rental certificate to the picture.
"We are sincerely sorry that the audience will not be able to see this story on the big screen. We hope that the film will still have the opportunity to meet with its audience," World Pictures concluded.
The film "Nuremberg" tells about the psychological confrontation between psychiatrist Douglas Kelly and Reich Marshal of Nazi Germany Hermann Goering in preparation for the Nuremberg trials.
As reported by EADaily, on the eve it became known that the documentary "Moment" by Aidan Zamiri about the British singer Charli XCX (Charlotte Aitchison) will not be released in Russia. The same picture will not be seen by viewers in the CIS. The reason for the cancellation of the rental is unknown.
The world premiere of "Moment" took place at the Sundance Festival at the end of January this year. The plot of the picture is built around the rapid growth in popularity of Charli XCX. Against the background of the preparation of a large-scale arena show, psychological pressure is growing on the singer. Control over the project is gradually beginning to slip away from her.
