More than 8,000 artillerymen are taking part in live-fire drill in 19 ranges in Southern, South-Caucasian and Crimean federal military districts in Russia, press office of the Southern Military District informs.
More than 1,500 weapons units and military machines are involved in the exercises.
Tactical, firing and fire control exercises are held together with site preparation, medical training and NBC protection training.
The field-training exercises are to continue till April 10.
