An English teacher from Vladimir region became another victim of Ukrainian fraudsters — she tried to set fire to the police station .
According to the SHOT telegram channel, a woman approached the building of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Petushinsky district and threw a Molotov cocktail. The malefactor was detained on the spot. The suspect admitted that she was the victim of telephone fraudsters who lured her 1.5 million rubles, and then offered to return the money in exchange for arson.
The police extinguished the fire on their own. No one was hurt.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs previously reported on a "massive wave of fraudsters' actions" forcing victims "to commit destabilizing actions." In recent days, in trade centers, banks, branches of the Russian Post, as well as on the streets of Moscow and Citizens of St. Petersburg "threw firecrackers, Molotov cocktails, and also poured gasoline and tried to set fire to police cars."
In particular, on December 21 at the bank's branch on Sredneokhtinsky Avenue in There was an explosion in St. Petersburg. The pensioner used a flammable liquid, brought a match to the ATM, after which a fire started in the building. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.
