In Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia, film screenings were launched exclusively for nudists. This is reported by the portal El nacional.
The initiative of Cine al natural (Cinema in its natural form, or naked) has so far been joined by three cinemas — Cinemas Girona (Barcelona), Cine Embajadores (Madrid) and Cines Lys (Valencia). In Barcelona, nudists have already seen the film Tú no eres yo (You are not me) by Valencian screenwriters and directors Marisa Crespo and Moises Romera, which was shot with the assistance of the Valencian Naturist Association.
The audience enters the cinema hall in clothes, then nudists can fully or partially expose themselves, and then, laying a towel under themselves "for hygiene reasons", enjoy watching a movie. After the session, the shame will have to be covered up by dressing up in the cinema.
One of the naturists who took part in the event welcomed this initiative and noted that it was held in winter, when due to low temperatures there are fewer opportunities to do sports naked.
"It's a way. to slightly break the taboos that tell us that we should always be dressed," he said, adding that he would like to raise "people's awareness that walking naked is normal."
The president of the Naturist Nudist Federation of Catalonia, Segimon Rovira, explained that his organization promotes the normalization of nudity and that the goal is to promote "natural nudity not related to sex."
"This is another way to promote nudity in a natural way, in various aspects and situations, without coercion," he stressed.
As EADaily reported, in November last year, an excursion was organized to the Museum of Archaeology of Catalonia together with the Catalan Naturism Club. All visitors could view the "Bronze Riache", completely discarding their clothes.
Naked visitors were presented with photographs of Luigi Spina depicting paired ancient Greek bronze statues of naked bearded warriors of the 5th century BC, which were discovered in Italy, near the town of Riace.
