Thai police detained in Pattaya is a group of bandits who killed a couple of Russian citizens and a local family of three. The leader of the gang turned out to be a repeatedly convicted 43-year-old Thana Kythong, nicknamed Pong.

According to Thairath, in the early morning of July 26, criminals disguised as police officers brutally dealt with 22-year-old Diana Nazimova and her 17-year-old brother Roman Nazimov, who had been living in the city for the past few years.

The investigation found that approximately in mid-June, the same gang of four people, Pong, Thong and two more accomplices, attacked the house of a Thai family. The couple and their child were also brutally murdered.

Currently, gang members have been detained and placed in a police station in the Huai Yai district on the southern outskirts of Pattaya. Local residents arrive there, who organized a spontaneous rally. They demand the death penalty for murderers.

When the suspects were taken out of the station for delivery to the court, the police had to fight off the gathered citizens who tried to lynch the murderers.

According to the investigation, last night the bodies of Roman and Diana Nazimov were removed from the grave, the place of which was indicated by the suspects. Nearby, law enforcement officers found three more bodies. The remains were sent to the Institute of Forensic Medical Examination in Bangkok.

It is also known that the Russian Embassy in Bangkok is monitoring the situation and insists on a speedy investigation into the murder of Russian citizens in Pattaya.

Earlier, EADaily reported that local criminals were detained in the city of Pattaya on the eastern coast of the Gulf of Thailand, who confessed to the murder of two Russians — brother and sister Nazimov.
