After the use of an anti-cancer vaccine developed by specialists of the Scientific Research Center of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Gamalei of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, metastases disappear and dissolve, as demonstrated by preclinical tests of the drug. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the director of the center Alexander Ginzburg.
"In the preclinic, we see that the tumor — melanoma — simply resolves, disappears, and not only the tumor itself, but even metastasis disappears. I do not exclude that we will have patients at the fourth stage," the agency quoted the scientist as saying.
According to him, it is currently planned to start testing the effect of the drug on a number of other types of oncological diseases, such as lung, kidney and pancreatic cancers. Oncological institutes will be involved for this.
Earlier, Ginzburg stated that the cancer vaccine will be manufactured for each patient individually. And artificial intelligence will help in its development, which will create a drug scheme after analyzing the tumor parameters. It may take up to seven days to make a medicine.
