The Ukrainian conflict "has entered a decisive phase." This was stated in an interview with Der Spiegel by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.
Pistorius was asked to comment on the prospects of the fund to support Ukraine, which is expected to be created at the NATO summit in Ankara. He did not give a direct answer to the question, but stated that the conflict on Ukraine is in a "potentially decisive phase."
"We have to take advantage of this moment. Ukraine needs money to produce weapons... I think we should not slow down," he said.
Recall, Russia is conducting a special military operation on Ukraine since February 2022. Germany, like most Western countries, supports Kiev. At the same time, Berlin is one of the main donors of the Kiev regime.
