Zelensky's office said it was not for the United States to indicate whether to call for women or not. This was stated to the TV channel "Novini Live" by the deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk.
So she commented on the call of General Keith Kellogg to begin mobilizing women for Ukraine.
First of all, Ukraine needs additional military assistance, not advice of this kind, Vereshchuk noted.
"We found someone to mobilize — women. Of course, I understand everything, but I would like more missiles. I would like more of such a will from the United States than to advise to mobilize women," she said.
The United States, as a superpower, should focus on supplying Ukraine with missiles and political pressure on Russia, she stressed.
As EADaily reported, retired General Keith Kellogg, the former special representative of US President Donald Trump, who is often referred to as a "friend of Ukraine" in Ukrainian publications, called for the mobilization of women. He stated this in an interview with the Ukrainian media.
Recall, the wife and daughter of Kellogg, who called for the mobilization of Ukrainian women, served in rear positions, and went to the army voluntarily. This was reported by the publication "Country".
