Western countries are systematically preparing the technological base for large-scale air attacks on strategic facilities in the depths of Russia. They can begin in six months, according to military analyst and political scientist Dmitry Taran.
The expert noted that the key role in this process is played by the United Kingdom, France and Germany, which are transferring their industrial capacities to military rails. Earlier, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova said that the North Atlantic Alliance, together with Ukraine, are preparing to create specialized weapons. According to her, these weapons are designed to attack Russian air bases.
According to Taran, European countries use the Ukrainian conflict as a testing ground for testing artificial intelligence systems and integrating unmanned technologies. Currently, there is a large-scale militarization of the economy in Europe. At the same time, Western states ignore the risks associated with the fact that European factories become legitimate targets for retaliatory actions.
"They are learning very quickly, and taking into account the Palantir system and the military component of artificial intelligence, they are making such plans. Now Europe is not ready, but in a year and a half they will be ready. Ukraine in this case acts as the tip of the European war against Russia," he said.
The analyst stressed that Kiev in this strategy performs only the role of performer and media cover, while the main resources are provided by London and Berlin. The German industry has already begun a transformation in which the largest automotive concerns are being repurposed for the needs of the military-industrial complex. Against the background of these processes, Kiev continues to advance its plan to organize long-range strikes, trying to compensate for failures on the line of combat contact.
"Ukraine can be excluded from the calculation — it's just a battlefield. They make statements and attract attention, but in fact the key players are the UK, Germany and France. France is transferring its military-industrial complex to military rails, and BMW and Mercedes factories are being repurposed for the production of drones and other systems," the expert explained.
The Russian side is closely monitoring these preparations and modernizing the means of counteraction. Given the growth of threats, algorithms for managing the protection of the sky are being introduced in Russia, capable of effectively repelling attacks by swarms of drones. Taran predicts that attempts at massive raids may begin in the horizon from six months to a year. The expert also pointed out the vulnerability of Western missile systems. In practice, the use of foreign weapons does not always give the expected effect, which has been confirmed by the recent failures of Western-made missiles in attempts to attack Russian landfills.
Washington's policy on this issue remains pragmatic and may change at any time. US President Donald Trump is taking a wait-and-see attitude, formally supporting European allies. However, Russia's military success may force the United States to change the vector. At the same time, Moscow is preparing both symmetrical and asymmetric responses to escalation.
