The missing fragment of the Russian X-101 missile was finally found in Poland

In Poland, they found the missing fragment of a Russian rocket that fell in the Lublin region. This is reported by the radio station RMF24.

"The District Prosecutor's Office in Lublin resumed search operations on Saturday in Tarnava, a colony in the Lublin Region, where a military facility fell on Thursday. A detailed laboratory analysis showed the need to find another fragment of the Russian X-101 missile. The element was found and fixed," the radio reports.

According to Marcin Kozak, a representative of the district prosecutor's office in Lublin, the inspection using ground-penetrating radar and metal detectors, which was carried out on Thursday, has already provided key evidence, but further laboratory analysis showed the need to find another fragment of the fallen object.

The search area was expanded due to the specifics of the terrain and the high probability that the element under study could be located at a considerable depth beyond the reach of standard measuring instruments. Today we used specialized equipment for deep scanning. The search area was closed, it was guarded by the military police.

On Saturday afternoon, the prosecutor said that the re-inspection of the territory around Tarnava Colony had been completed.

"The wanted object has been found and is safe for investigation purposes," he added.

Representatives of the prosecutor's office reassured the public, stressing that the found fragment does not pose a threat to the life and health of residents.

As reported by EADaily, the Polish Defense Ministry confirmed that a Russian X-101 missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads fell in the Lublin region. This was announced the night before by Deputy Defense Minister Cesary Tomchik.

The Polish Defense Ministry counted 20 Russian X-101 missiles that were flying in its direction.
