In Odessa, a car was blown up with an officer of the headquarters of the Ukrainian Navy Command sitting at the wheel

In Odessa today, on July 28, an SUV with a senior officer of the operational department of the logistics department of the Naval Command headquarters was blown up Armed Forces of Ukraine Vyacheslav Sazonov.

According to the Ukrainian media and Odessa public, 49-year-old Sazonov was injured, but survived. The explosion thundered in the courtyard of a multi-storey building.

According to police, as soon as the officer started his SUV and started driving, the car exploded. The explosive device was placed under the front left wheel.

The Security Service of Ukraine qualified the explosion as a terrorist attack, a criminal case was opened.
