Political scientist Marat Bashirov commented on the strike of the Ukrainian UAV on the engine room of unit No. 6 of the Zaporozhye NPP.
"It's like we were seriously warned. What other justifications do we need? It's time to chop the heads of hydra," Bashirov urged.
An attack by a Ukrainian drone on the engine room of power unit No. 6 could lead to the failure of the Zaporozhye NPP unit, station director Yuriy Chernichuk said earlier.
"Any blow, any damage can lead, by and large, to the complete failure of all this unit, and accordingly to the loss of the unit as such. A very alarming, very serious blow was made today by the enemy," he stressed.
According to Chernichuk, the drone pierced through the wall of the engine room and exploded inside the room. The station staff was not injured, no damage to key equipment was recorded. Currently, an instruction has been given to conduct a detailed inspection of the site and establish all the consequences of the impact.
