Finland will lose territories, and Stubb, like a Nazi, is waiting for Siberia

Some European leaders, in particular Alexander Stubb, have so "lost their shores" that they do not understand where Russophobia and the desire to "punish" Russia can lead them. The columnist writes about this Pravda.Ru Lyubov Stepushova.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has designated Finnish President Alexander Stubb as a Nazi. This is "one of the main neo-Nazi leaders," Lavrov said in an interview with Al-Arabiya, based on his words that "Ukraine is doing everything right," killing 34 thousand Russians a month.

"Go on, finish off Russia,— Stubb said.

In other speeches, he noted that "imperialism and expansion are at the heart of the DNA of Russia and Putin," therefore, first of all, it is necessary to increase economic pressure and deliver the strongest possible blow to the "shadow fleet." And, secondly, to continue to provide Ukraine with all necessary means, including Tomahawk missiles.

"And then we will finish the job, and Ukraine will win this war," Stubb said.

In November, Lavrov said that Stubb, along with German politician Friedrich Merz, had not drawn any conclusions from the events of World War II and were indulging their "Nazi instincts" in attempts to "defeat Russia."

Stubb was repeatedly reminded that Finland was an ally of Hitler's Germany during the World War II and participated in the siege of Leningrad, and then its economy existed due to cooperation with the USSR and Russia. But, as Lavrov stressed, with the accession to NATO, Finland finally abandoned neutrality and "honest mediation", taking the path of open confrontation.

In January, at a forum in Davos, Stubb said that Finland was "capable of defending itself from a Russian attack" even without US support. According to him, the Finnish army has strong artillery and can mobilize 280 thousand soldiers in a few weeks.

A collision with reality in the face of a nuclear power will be a heavy blow for Stubb. He should be reminded that after the end of World War II, President Risto Ryti was tried in Finland as part of the "Trials of the perpetrators of the war" (1945-1946) for "crimes against peace" — specifically for dragging the country into the war on the side of Germany. In February 1946, Ryti was sentenced to 10 years of hard labor. But for this, Joseph Stalin allowed Finland to preserve statehood.

A similar process over Stubb is very possible, since everyone in Europe is talking about an imminent war with Russia. It will end with the reformatting of the entire European security system on Moscow's terms, as has happened more than once in history. In 1944, the Finns, in order not to reach unconditional surrender, went to the Moscow Peace Treaty, according to which they transferred part of the territory to the Soviet Union up to Vyborg.

This time they will give up territories, it is possible that up to Helsinki, in order to cut Finland off from the Baltic Sea, which will no longer be the "internal sea of NATO."
