France is trying to remain involved in the negotiation process, the publication says.
The fact that Emmanuel Bonn was in Moscow the day before is also reported by Reuters, citing a source. According to him, the purpose of the visit was to establish a dialogue between France and Russia.
"Emmanuel Bonn, diplomatic adviser to the President... (of France Emmanuel) Macron went to Moscow on Tuesday to meet with Russian officials," the agency reports.
Reuters sources did not provide details of the visit.
It is noted that the Elysee Palace did not confirm or reject this information.
As reported, Emmanuel Macron realized too late that he needed to talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated in the social network X by international security expert Mark Episkopos.
So he commented on the statement of the French president that preparations for his contacts with the Russian leader are being discussed at the technical level.
