He linked this to the aggravation in the Middle East between Iran and the United States. However, today he said that the meeting will be held in Abu Dhabi, but on February 4-5. This means that the reason for the transfer is not the situation in the Middle East. Moreover, just today, on February 1, there are no military operations in the region and it would be reasonable to hold a meeting in Abu Dhabi today, without postponing it, as the tension in the region is increasing.

"Then why is the meeting postponed? There may be two versions. First, the parties are currently working on some real agreements to end the war, but some time and consultations are still needed for their final approval. Secondly, there is no serious progress in the negotiations, and their postponement was an initiative of Zelensky and is only a tactical device to extend the energy truce for at least a few days. Recall that Moscow had previously stated that it had agreed to an energy truce before the date of the new round of negotiations. Until there is, until February 1," the publication says.

The publication believes that Zelensky, due to the postponement of the date of negotiations, may want to postpone the end of the truce.
