It is pointless to expect European leaders to condemn the US attack on Venezuela. This was stated in the social network X by Professor Tuomas Malinen of the University of Helsinki.
"Now we are all waiting for unwavering actions from the European Commission. At a minimum, sanctions should be imposed on oil and gas imports from the United States. Personally, I am also waiting for condemnatory statements from French Leader Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, head of the European diplomacy Kai Kallas and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk," Malinen said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to him, no concrete actions will be taken by Europe, because "we live in a world of double standards and the EU is the most corrupt and supranational structure of all existing ones."
As reported by EADaily, the European Union is closely monitoring the situation in Venezuela. This was stated in the social network X by the head of the European diplomacy, Kaya Kallas.
