The Ukrainian Armed Forces have thrown foreign mercenaries and special forces of the GUR to Kupyansk

The Ukrainian command sent foreign mercenaries and special forces of the GUR to Kupyansk in an attempt to recapture the city. This is reported by the telegram channel "Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring."

"Heavy fighting is taking place day and night in the Kharkiv region. Our troops continue to repel the enemy's counteroffensive at a number of sites in the Kupyansk area. The counterstrike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine involves foreign mercenaries (mainly from Latin America), special forces of the GUR and reserves trained by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from those mobilized, as well as brigades transferred from other sectors,"the TC writes.

It is noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are taking advantage of bad weather to bring as many forces as possible into Kupyansk, while the work of Russian UAVs is difficult. Due to the large reserves thrown at the city and the increase in the number of calculations of Ukrainian strike UAVs, the situation in Kupyansk remains difficult.

"The units of the 6th Army repelled two attacks by the forces of the 144th mechanized and 92nd assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including foreign mercenaries, in the areas of the settlements of Palamarevka and Blagodatovka to break through Kupyansk," the Military Correspondents add.
