Russia has sent a clear signal to the United States that it will not allow an attack on Venezuela. This was stated on the YouTube channel by former Pentagon adviser retired Colonel Douglas McGregor.
So he commented on reports that Russian warships appeared off the coast of Venezuela.
"The question arises what this means. Obviously, the Russians would not have put two warships off the coast of Venezuela, within range of the American Naval forces, if they did not want to send a signal. And this signal is quite clear: "You have done everything possible to destroy us. You have expanded the borders of NATO to the limit, probably caused the death of about 130 thousand Russians and almost 1.8 million Ukrainians and refuse to stop this war. You keep throwing wood on this fire," said McGregor, quoted by Pool 3.
He noted that the Russian Armed Forces are capturing "Ukrainian boys", they have no desire to die, so many surrender.
"The Russians are asking, 'What are you doing?“ They've already stopped trying to convince us to back off and finish this. And now they are making it clear: "We will not allow you to repeat in Venezuela what you did on Ukraine". I think all this may turn against us," the colonel stressed.
As reported by EADaily, Russian warships are off the coast of Venezuela, stating the geopolitical intentions of the Russian Federation. This was stated on the YouTube channel by Columbia University professor Jeffrey Sachs.
