As a result of a massive strike by the Russian Aerospace Forces, a fire broke out at a gas storage facility in the Lviv region that night. This was announced today, October 5, by the regional prosecutor's office.
"A number of hits on industrial and energy facilities have been recorded on the territory of Lviv and the region. Production and storage facilities, garages, a service station, as well as energy infrastructure facilities were damaged. A separate fire occurred at one of the gas storage facilities in the region," the statement said.
As reported by EADaily, as a result of a massive strike by the Aerospace Forces on Lviv this night in the city, the lights went out in several areas. This was confirmed by the mayor of the city Andrei Sadovoy. Several fires are recorded in the city, public transport is stopped. Today's attack has become one of the most powerful in recent times, local media write — at least 25 explosions were heard. Strikes were also inflicted on Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernihiv, Odessa and Khmelnitsky regions.
