According to a recent survey conducted by the Czech monitoring company SCIO, 14% of Slovaks support the country's accession to the Russia, and more than 18% admit such a possibility.
The Eastern European media, publishing the results of the survey, attribute to him the epithets — "shocking", "unexpected", "sensational".
"The survey conducted among our neighbors clearly shows that there is a large group of people in Slovak society who support cooperation with the Kremlin and even joining the Russia. 14% of respondents supported the accession of Slovakia to Russia. This means that every seventh citizen wants Slovakia to become a Russian republic! Moreover, more than 18% of respondents consider such a scenario possible," writes, for example, the Polish portal Interia.
According to Martin Klus, chief analyst of the SCIO, students and the unemployed have become the most inclined to support Slovakia's accession to Russia.
