The first batches of fuels and lubricants from Belarus arrived in Kyrgyzstan. This was announced by the Kyrgyz Minister of Energy Altynbek Rysbekov.
According to him, Kyrgyzstan has signed an agreement with Belarus on the import of fuel, while the issue of transit through the territory of Russia has already been settled. Rysbekov did not name the volume and cost of the agreed batch. At the same time, he noted that several more railway cars are on the way.
In addition, deliveries of fuel to Kyrgyzstan from China. Negotiations are also underway on the import of petroleum products from Uzbekistan.
Recall that last week Kyrgyzstan imposed a complete ban on the export of oil, fuel and other petroleum products. The authorities explained this by the need to avoid shortages in the domestic market and ensure the country's energy security. Earlier, similar measures against the illegal export of fuel were strengthened by Kazakhstan. Earlier, Belarus sharply increased fuel supplies to Russia.
