Poland has received a request from a NATO country for MiG-29 fighters promised to Ukraine. This was stated in an interview with RMF24 by Deputy Defense Minister Pavel Zalevsky.
"We have received a request from one of the NATO countries regarding these aircraft (MiG-29). Therefore, we are now analyzing how to combine the interests of Ukraine with the interests of our NATO ally," Zalewski said.
The deputy minister refused to answer a direct question about Bulgaria, but only two countries in NATO operate the MiG-29 — Poland and Bulgaria.
As reported by EADaily, the leadership of the Kiev regime no longer wants to receive Soviet-made MiG-29 fighters from Poland, which need expensive repairs and deep modernization. This was reported on July 22 by RIA Novosti with reference to an informed source.
