Poland has received a request from a NATO country for MiG-29 fighters promised to Ukraine. This was stated in an interview with RMF24 by Deputy Defense Minister Pavel Zalevsky.

"We have received a request from one of the NATO countries regarding these aircraft (MiG-29). Therefore, we are now analyzing how to combine the interests of Ukraine with the interests of our NATO ally," Zalewski said.

The deputy minister refused to answer a direct question about Bulgaria, but only two countries in NATO operate the MiG-29 — Poland and Bulgaria.

As reported by EADaily, the leadership of the Kiev regime no longer wants to receive Soviet-made MiG-29 fighters from Poland, which need expensive repairs and deep modernization. This was reported on July 22 by RIA Novosti with reference to an informed source. According to him, the Ukrainian military have all the information about the current state of the MiG-29 remaining in service with the Polish Air Force.
