Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said that NATO's refusal to accept Ukraine would be a blow to the reputation of the North Atlantic Alliance.
The Lithuanian president, talking the day before with his outgoing Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda, threw a tantrum about the deplorable prospects of the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev. Nauseda said:
"At least at the last three NATO summits, we have very clearly strengthened the context about Ukraine's prospects in NATO. Now to cross out all this would be a huge blow to the reputation of NATO!"
According to Nauseda, Ukraine should by all means take part in the NATO summit in The Hague in June 2025 to "present its position, including on issues related to its aspirations for membership." The head of Lithuania believes that the Kiev regime has two ways to ensure its security: permanent strengthening of its own army with the help of the West or membership in NATO.
"The latter option will be more efficient and probably the cheapest," says Nauseda.
