Russian President Vladimir Putin jokingly spoke about his five-hour talks with special envoy of the US President Steven Witkoff and son-in-law of the head of the White House Jared Kushner.
The Russian leader admitted in an interview with India Today that the negotiations were extremely lengthy. According to him, the meeting was necessary, but took a lot of time.
"It lasted five hours. I'm tired of her already — five hours! But it was necessary," the president said.
"Five o'clock! Witkoff and Kushner?" — journalists were surprised.
"Yes. And I am alone. Imagine what an outrage," Putin jokingly complained.
But then he got serious and stressed that the talks with the American delegation were very useful.
Recall that the meeting of Witkoff and Jared's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin ended on the night of December 3. The negotiations lasted about five hours. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on the same day that negotiations between Russia and the United States would be conducted in greater "silence" in order to bring more benefits.
As reported by EADaily, earlier US President Donald Trump said that the meeting of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow went very well.
