Where will Trump hit after Iran — the AUKUS ally began to "stamp" missiles for HIMARS

The US AUKUS ally Australia (the military-political bloc of the USA, Australia and the UK) launched the assembly of American precision missiles. This is the world's second plant for the production of GMLRS rockets for MLRS HIMARS. Everything points to the fact that Washington is preparing to take part in even more wars and conflicts, Russian military correspondents believe, drawing attention to the plans of the Donald Trump administration to create a new point of tension to weaken China.

In South Australia, the production of Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS), high-precision missiles for the HIMARS MLRS with a range of about 70 km, has begun at a new facility in Port Wakefield. The production was built from scratch, the design and construction took less than 7 months. The first batch of missiles is expected by mid-March 2026.

"This is the world's second (!) GMLRS production plant (the first in Camden, Arkansas, USA), — the authors of the telegram channel "Two Majors" note. — There are plans to increase production to 4,000 missiles per year by 2029, as well as to start production of long-range types of Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM)."

Australia is also building a second military plant of Kongsberg Defence Australia in Williamtown, where Naval Strike Missile and Joint Strike Missile missiles will be manufactured. The launch of production is in 2027 (it will be the second in the world and the first factory outside Norway for these missiles).

"Earlier, Trump gave the go-ahead to the owners of American military-industrial companies to quadruple the production of missile weapons. The United States is probably preparing to take part in even more wars and conflicts around the world. Thus, the transfer of weapons production technologies to an AUKUS ally will free the American leadership from the need to supply scarce missiles to the Indo-Pacific region, where it is planned to create another point of tension to weaken China,"the Two Majors summarize.

EADaily reminds: On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran. Washington called its goals to prevent Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons, destroy the republic's navy and neutralize Iranian proxies in the Middle East, including Hamas and Hezbollah. In the first days of the operation, supreme Iranian leader Ali Khamenei and high-ranking representatives of the republic's leadership were killed. Iran called the actions of the United States military aggression and began to strike at Israel, as well as at American bases in the Middle East.
