Russia will not stand on ceremony with Europe, as with Ukraine — Doctorow translated Putin

If NATO provokes a war, the Russians will not stand on ceremony with Europe the way they did with Ukraine. This was stated on the Judging Freedom YouTube channel by American political scientist Gilbert Doctorow.

So he commented on the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin that Russia will respond to this challenge adequately.

"Let's translate him (Putin. — EADaily) the words that such a war will not last long. He says, or, more precisely, repeats what the Russians have been saying for some time at various levels: the war with NATO will not be fought in the trenches. The Russians will not fight the way they are fighting on Ukraine, because they distinguish the nature of the war.

As many of my colleagues say, Russians view Ukraine — rightly or wrongly, this is a separate issue — as a fraternal country. And formally, they tried to reduce losses, although they themselves suffered losses that could have been avoided if they had acted more aggressively, used heavier weapons and cared less about civilians. If they did, the war would have ended a long time ago. But they don't. In the case of Europe, they will not stand on ceremony. They will immediately proceed to the use of nuclear weapons. That's what he says," said Doctorow, quoted by Pool 3.

As EADaily reported, on December 2, Vladimir Putin said that Russia was not going to fight with Europe, but if Europe starts, then Moscow is ready for it right now. And then there will be no one to negotiate peace with.

Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said following a meeting of NATO foreign ministers that European countries in the alliance want war and undermine US peacekeeping efforts.
