MMA fighter Ivan Emelianenko was released from prison on parole. The relevant footage of his release was made available 5-tv.ru . He shared his plans for the near future.
"If I am interesting, I need to call the promoters, the guys," Channel Five quotes the athlete as saying.
According to Emelianenko, he is going to return to the sport, in conclusion he did not stop training.
"I think I'll be back in the ring. There is a sports town in the colony. I walked and studied every day. Not as much, of course, as we would like. Well, I more or less supported the form," Emelianenko noted.
Emelianenko was sentenced to one and a half years in prison under the article on intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm in December 2024. In the spring of the same year, he had a street conflict with a man who insulted his family. Emelianenko hit the offender in the face several times.
The court granted the fighter's request for parole on September 10 of this year. It is expected that the athlete will enter the ring this year.
