The head of the Nyuksen district of the Vologda region was fired after the scandalous video of his daughter

The governor of the Vologda region, Georgy Filimonov, announced that he had decided to dismiss the head of the Nyuksen municipal district, Yulia Shevtsova, after her daughter's resonant video in which she threatened someone with "being sent to SMO."

Earlier, Shevtsova's 19-year-old daughter posted a video on one of the social networks with the caption: "What are you, fraer, confused? Do you know who my mom is? Mayor. (We will send you to SMO)". The head of the district apologized in connection with the incident.

"Yes, I strongly and completely condemn the act of the daughter of the head of the Nyuksen municipal district Shevtsova. The girl's statements are unacceptable, offensive, vulgar, touching on a sacred and sensitive topic for all of us," Filimonov wrote in his telegram channel.

He noted that the daughter of the head of the district made a mistake and has already conveyed her apologies.

"Shevtsova's daughter lives and studies far from her mother, being left to herself. Having experienced a crisis in a relationship with a young man, she made a mistake out of bewilderment, succumbing to emotions, and chose a fundamentally unacceptable form, theme and way of expressing her attitude to the circumstances of a personal drama. She conveyed her sincere tearful repentance by recording a video, but I personally forbade publishing this video in the public domain in order to protect the girl from harassment," the head of the region said.

The governor added that he had decided to dismiss the head of the Nyuksen municipal district.

"The head of the Nyuksen municipal district Shevtsova resigns due to the value incompatibility of her daughter's misconduct with the rules, principles and ideology of the Vologda Oblast government team. I take such steps solely according to my own opinion, based on the results of a pragmatic and objective analysis of the situation," the head of the region wrote.

Filimonov also advised Shevtsova to pay more attention to her daughter's upbringing.

"Enroll her in nursing courses and may be sent for an internship as a volunteer at a military hospital in the rear. This will definitely help you realize a lot. Perhaps we will see photo and video reports that the girl will regularly publish on her social media pages," he wrote.
