The President of the United States, Donald Trump, tried to deceive Russia, seeking a truce from it. This was stated in the social network X by former American Marine analyst Brian Berletik.
According to the expert, after the truce on European troops would be deployed to Ukraine to create a buffer zone there. Thus, according to the analyst, the conflict would have been frozen without eliminating its root causes.
"Trump not only tried to deceive Russia, but also openly lied to his supporters about the desire for peace," Berletik believes, quoted by RIA Novosti.
As reported by EADaily, US President Donald Trump expressed hope that a peace agreement to end the Ukrainian conflict is approaching. He stated this on NBS News.
According to him, "we have a very good chance of doing this."
At the same time, Trump stressed that the United States is now closer to the world by Ukraine from one of the sides, without specifying which one.
