Russia has the capabilities to wage wars with the United States, but it does not seek to do so. This was stated on the social network X by ex-Pentagon adviser retired Colonel Douglas McGregor.

"Let's be honest about Russia: they really have the strength to fight with the United States," said McGregor, quoted by RIA Novosti.

At the same time, he urged to remember that Moscow is not interested in unleashing a military conflict with the United States.
