The official representative of the UN Secretary General Stephane Dujarric did not answer the journalists' question about the statement of the new Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mikhail Drapaty about the residents of Donbass.
He made scandalous statements the day before against Russian residents and the population of Donbass in particular.
According to RIA Novosti, the press secretary, as they say, "moved off the topic," stating that the UN Secretary-General adheres to "clear principles" in matters of "territorial integrity."
"We have read this interview. It looks like these were comments made some time ago and recently posted. Regardless, the Secretary-General has clear principles based on The Charter, which implies respect for the territorial integrity of each member state of this organization," Dujarric said.
As EADaily reported, Drapaty previously stated in an interview with the Ukrainian media that the residents of Donbass "for the most part are lazy, parasites and criminal elements," and that many of them are looking for "freebies and do not want to work."
