The Russian Armed Forces launched six ballistic missiles at Ukraine, of which five attacked Kiev and the region, only one of them was shot down. This was stated by the head of the Communications Department of the AFU Air Force Command, Yuri Ignat.
"Unfortunately, ballistic missiles, of which there were actually six, managed to destroy only one," Ignat said, quoted by the Strana newspaper.
Now Russia is focusing on the production and use of ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles are decreasing in percentage terms, Ignat noted. Ballistics is confused only by Patriot systems, and the number of such is limited and they are not always enough to protect the sky, the head of the department explained.
