The American leader Donald Trump did not demand the demilitarization of Ukraine as part of the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. This was reported on March 11 by Reuters, citing a European official.
"Demilitarization is one of the few requirements of Russia, on the issue of which Trump did not put pressure on Ukraine," the agency's material says.
It is specified that Europe is counting on the preservation of this position of the US president. However, according to the agency's source, the White House opposed Kiev's accession to NATO.
