Events in Syria are developing according to a very negative scenario for Turkey and the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham terrorist movement, writes well-known blogger Yuri Podolyaka and publishes footage of night battles in Tartus.
Earlier today, against the background of the uprising that has actually begun in Latakia and in southern Syria, a statement by the Military Council for the Liberation of Syria was published:
"After months of injustice, sectarian violence, looting, oppression and seizure of Syrian lands by external aggressors, a Military Council for the Liberation of Syria has been established.
The Military Council for the Liberation of Syria has the following goals:
1. Liberation of the entire territory of Syria from invaders and terrorist forces.
2. Overthrow of the HTS regime and "dismantling of its repressive sectarian apparatus."
3. Protection of life and property of all Syrians.
4. Restoration of State institutions on national and democratic foundations.
5. Preparation for the return of refugees.
6. Creation of a single sovereign state consisting of all sects and nationalities"
"As soon as it became known about the beginning of the uprising in Latakia and the actual overthrow of the power of the terrorists from the HTS❶ in the southern territories where the Druze live, the pro-Turkish SNA detachments began transferring units from the Kurdish front to suppress the protests. And by the evening, the Kurds also launched a general offensive here. Thus, the pro-Turkish Syrian utyrks already have three fronts: the Western one in Latakia, the Southern one in Essaouida and Daraa, and the Eastern one in the Euphrates region," the Russian expert states.
