The United States will come into conflict with Poland if it decides to turn off Starlink in Ukraine, since Warsaw pays for 20 thousand satellite communication terminals for Kiev. This forecast was made by the editor of the Spanish newspaper "El Mundo" Alberto Rojas.
The author writes that Donald Trump continues to show "arrogance and cruelty" towards his former Ukrainian ally, specifying that if Washington turns off satellite communications, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will become "blinded," which means that "the United States will return Kiev to the war of the XX century."
"Thanks to this intelligence, Ukraine was able to find out before many Russian generals that Z troops were going to invade Ukraine on February 24, 2022, which gave Zelensky the opportunity to prepare resistance, which helped defeat the Russians in the area of Kiev and Kharkov — the two most important cities of the country," the Spanish journalist writes.
Now, according to the author, Kiev will have to rely on its own radar equipment, which is significantly inferior in detection capabilities.
Moreover, Alberto Rojas predicts that if the United States turns off Starlink, it will lead to a conflict with Poland, which currently rents and pays for 20,000 terminals of the network for use on Ukraine.
"Although Washington does not seem to see any problems in coming into conflict with old allies," the El Mundo journalist notes.
