Washington and Kiev are preparing to sign an agreement on minerals as early as Tuesday, US East Coast time. It is reported by Reuters with reference to four sources.
According to sources, US President Donald Trump told his advisers that he would announce the agreement during a speech in Congress on the evening of March 4 (the event will begin at 21.00 US Eastern time, 05.00 Moscow time on March 5), reports RT.
Sources warned that the deal has not yet been signed, and the situation "may change."
In recent days, American officials have been communicating with the Ukrainian authorities about signing an agreement on minerals, despite the breakdown of the deal on Friday, and urged advisers to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to convince him to apologize to Trump, one of the sources told Reuters.
As reported by EADaily, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, expressed regret over the altercation with US President Donald Trump at the White House. He stated this today in his account on the social network X.
However, he did not apologize to Trump at the same time.
