Agreement between the United States and Ukraine's agreement on mineral resources will be signed in the near future and will lead to security assistance to Kiev, US Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick said after a conversation with the head of Volodymyr Zelensky's office, Andriy Yermak.
"We will 100% return this train to the rails. This agreement on mineral resources will be signed in a short time, leading to a strong long—term economic partnership between the United States and Ukraine, and ultimately will naturally lead to assistance in the field of security," Fitzpatrick wrote on the social network X.
The Republican legislator noted that the conversation with Yermak was long and productive and took place "one-on-one."
"Europe will have to step up and contribute, for this they will have the authority," Fitzpatrick added.
