In Poland, five Latin Americans are accused of gang-raping a 20-year-old college student. The sixth is accused of aiding and abetting.
The trial of the rapists began in Poland today, and the crime itself was committed in July last year in a car on the Warsaw-Yankee highway (Mazovian Voivodeship). Early in the morning, on July 28, a 20-year-old girl left an entertainment club in Warsaw, where she met a man who introduced himself as a Spaniard. She got into his car, thinking that she would be taken home. However, there were five more people in the car.
During the trip, the woman lost consciousness and regained consciousness outside Warsaw in the city of Yanki. A 20-year-old girl escaped from her pursuers, ran to a bus stop, where she asked for help from a commuter bus driver who called the police. The medical examination found that during the "blackout" the student was raped several times.
"The District Attorney's Office in "Pruszkuwe has charged five rape suspects and one suspect with aiding and abetting rape committed on the night of July 28, 2024 at an unspecified location during a car trip along the Warsaw-Yankee route," press secretary of the Warsaw District Prosecutor's Office Peter Skiba told the Polish Press Agency.
The prosecutor clarified that all the suspects are citizens of one of the Latin American countries. Men live and work in Poland is legal, they are between 20 and 30 years old.
